All the grapes for this wine are harvested by hand and the wine is aged in French oak barrels for one year. The result is a deep ruby, smooth wine, bursting with ripe red fruit that perfectly complements roasted red meats and grilled vegetables.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.

Really disappointed with this - tannic and bland, no real body and certainly not bursting with red fruit as advertised. Didn’t improve with decanting either.

Shocking. I’ve learned a lesson with these so called “parcel series”, scammed! I’m reassessing future custom with Majestic over this. The Pauillac 91 2022 is much worse!

Wish I'd read the reviews on this before I purchased..... no wonder it's massively reduced. Absolutely awful. Even the sink complained when I poured it (and £15) down the drain...

I actually can't believe how bad this wine is. It's about as far removed from left bank Bordeaux as it's possible to be. It's both flavourless and revolting at the same time - you really do have to try it for that to make sense!

Doesn't open out, leaving an ultimately thin, tannic wine. Tastes overpriced by a fiver at £15. If you paid £30 I would return it unopened.

This is thin, very little aroma, slight fruit and minerality. High tannin. For the price its ok at 15 bad at 30. I haven't had Saint-Estephe before but given its reputation suspect this is a poor example. It would not improve with age so if you buy drink

This is badged as a £30 wine. It tastes like a £10 wine, It lacks fruit, depth and any complexity. It is not what anyone should expect from a classic Bordeaux Medoc region. Very disappointing Majestic, not up to your usual excellent standard.
