A medium amber colour with a nose of orange peel, figs and cinnamon. The sugar on the palate is well-balanced by the fine acidity, leading to a clean, refreshing finish. Great with poached pears.
Made by one of the greatest Port houses, this is dense and smooth, with flavours of blackcurrant jam, mint, cigar box and cedar, and a very long finish. Pair with hard cheeses.
The 2009 Castelnau de Suduiraut is a hugely intense experience, with immense, honeyed sweetness counterbalanced by an involving complexity. Great with poached pears.
This is a rich, full-bodied port made from white grapes on the dizzying Douro slopes. It's deliciously fragrant with notes of honey and oak and a long, smooth finish.
Rich and opulent in feel but with well moderated sweetness. Absorbingly complex, both nose and palate are awash with notes of raisins, figs, candied orange peel and pudding spices.
A beguilingly complex nose of citrus fruit, brioche and shortbread. The mousse is finely pearled, soft, yet mouth-filling and persistent. Elegantly shaped and supremely poised.
