MERLOT
Merlot's soft plummy fruit character is often used to soften Cabernet Sauvignon in red blends, and is also a delicious single varietal wine.
You can expect a plush wine with bright notes of redcurrant and raspberry, silky tannins and a long finish. It’s drinking brilliantly now so enjoy it with herb-crusted rack of lamb.
This claret is steeped in history. The château was favoured by Henry IV – and uses old Bordeaux variety Carménère in the blend. Ripe, fresh and full of black fruit.
A bold red blend from a customer-favourite producer. Expect vibrant red- and black-fruit flavours with rich chocolate and vanilla notes, plus a smooth and velvety texture.
