This is one of the finest pink Champagnes going. It's made purely from the demanding Pinot Noir grape and has divine notes of raspberry, redcurrant and strawberry.
This Pinot Noir is made from 45-year-old vines in Santenay, the village in which the founder of the winery, Vincent Girardin, was born.
A medium amber colour with a nose of orange peel, figs and cinnamon. The sugar on the palate is well-balanced by the fine acidity, leading to a clean, refreshing finish. Great with poached pears.
Purchased by the Comte Lafond, ancestor of the current owner, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, Château du Nozet and its surrounding vineyards have a reputation for producing the finest Pouilly-Fumé
This golden-yellow wine has flavours of peach, apricot and tropical fruit, a balancing acidity, and a well-integrated hint of vanilla.
Crafted from a single 'block' of vines, it's bright, fresh, fruity Sauvignon from Marlborough pioneers - and the most awarded producer in the region.
