Over the past few years, Majestic Wine has raised more than £1 million for various charities, thanks to the incredible support of our colleagues, customers and suppliers. From guide dogs to cancer support, food banks to bushfires, the NHS to local appeals for flood relief, our combined efforts have raised vital funds for Majestic’s nominated national Charity of the Year, voted for by our colleagues. In 2021, we raised more than £125,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity, and in 2022 we bettered that by collecting over £200,000 for Alzheimer’s Society.

Our teams are passionate about fundraising for charity, and as a business we were keen to do everything we can to support even more worthy causes close to our colleagues' hearts. To help us do exactly that, last year we embarked on setting up The Majestic Charitable Foundation. Through various activities and challenges – from running marathons to skydives – and with the support of our Majestic colleagues, customers and suppliers, The Majestic Charitable Foundation aims to increase awareness and fundraise for the charities that mean so much to us.

Initially, the Foundation is partnering with three national charities: The Brain Tumour Charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably, and Child Bereavement UK. Over time, we also hope to be able to support smaller, local charities within the 212 communities that Majestic’s stores currently serve across the UK and Channel Islands.

In 2024, we started working with fintech charity Pennies to provide an option for customers to round-up their in store spend and donate the extra pence directly to The Majestic Charitable Foundation. Through Pennies, 100% of the donations go to a good cause, with 10% going to Pennies and 90% to the Foundation.
