About the producer
Christos Vavatsis studied winemaking at the University of Athens and has worked in Greece since early in his career – so he knows the native grape varieties inside-out. A jury member on wine competitions within Greece and abroad, he’s always kept pace with the latest industry trends and encouraged innovation in his own bottlings. L’Esthete is a prime example of this.

About the region
With such hot summers, white wines from the Peloponnese rely on coastal and topographical influences to retain their freshness. The grapes for this wine are harvested from northern-exposure slopes of Aigialeia, in a plot protected from summer winds by the mountains of Panachaiko and Helmos. In short, Vavatsis’s white wine retains an enthralling, lively taste.
