About the producer
The Arnoux family have been tending their plots in the Rhône Valley since 1717, so calling them experts is almost an understatement. Today their vineyards cover 40 hectares at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain chain. They still maintain the greatest respect for regional tradition and terroir and focus on small grape yields to maintain top quality.

About the region
Millions of years ago, the slow collision of the Massif Central and the Alps led to the formation of a rift valley – the Rhône – and with it, a wide range of landscapes, soil types and microclimates. In Aimé Arnoux’s case, their vineyards extend over plateaus with clay-limestone soils and rolled pebbles. These pebbles retain heat at night as temperatures cool, ripening grapes to perfection.
