Hailing from one of Australia’s most celebrated Riesling regions, this is a collaboration between Rob Gibson and legendary white-winemaker Andrew Wigan. Together they share over 80 years of winemaking experience in the Barossa, and that skill shows here. Aromas of grapefruit and orange blossom lead into zesty flavours of lemon and lime, balanced with a mineral backbone. Fresh and delicious.
About the producer
Geologist, viticulturist and celebrated winemaker Rob Gibson – formerly of legendary brand Penfolds – believes that great wine is crafted by the earth. He and his wife Anne fell in love with a 19th-century settlers’ cottage in Light Pass, to the north of Adelaide, and nurtured their Gibson estate vineyards around it. Rob works with his son Adam to tend grapes and carefully source from nearby growers, including historic plantings more than a century old.

One of Gibson’s own vineyards, Burkes Hill is located in the Eden Valley region, just south of Light Pass and east of the Barossa Valley. much cooler than the Barossa Valley floor, the site benefits from an east-facing exposure and is cultivated without irrigation.
