About the producer
Founder Joseph Carr named Josh Cellars after his father, a US Army veteran and volunteer firefighter. Rather than making blends – so common in Europe – he opted to create wines showcasing the character of a single grape variety. Delivering consistently on California’s top reputation is no easy task, but that’s why winemaker Wayne Donaldson is on hand. He’s been crafting bottlings for 37 years.

About the region
Josh Cellars source their grapes with care from premium sites throughout California. They’ve got a lot of choice because California has some of the most diverse winegrowing areas in America, from the soaring Sierra Foothills on the edge of the Sierra Nevada mountains to the ocean-influenced Central Coast.
