About the producer
Fog Mountain is a homage to California’s unique landscape – a blend of craggy mountain ranges and cooling ocean fog that shapes every aspect of local viticulture. Winemaker Stephanie Putnam fell in love with Napa Valley on family trips as a child, watching as her parents visited the region’s lauded vineyards and collected wines. Such inspiration clearly bred serious talent, as Stephanie’s wines have been celebrated in respected publications such as Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast.

About the region
The mountain ridges that run along the length of California provide varied soils and unique climatic conditions for nurturing a variety of grapes, including Chardonnay. The fog that rolls in from the coast cools vineyards drenched in sunshine and prolongs the growing season. In turn, fruit ripens fully and develops complexity.
