Laurent Mabileau have been producing wines since 1985 – and this wine showcases their expertise. Produced in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil on the right bank of the Loire Valley, it’s a great reminder that fantastic reds can be found here as well as whites. The commune itself has several stunning castles – and it’s renowned for wines that represent the variety the Loire Valley has to offer. With notes of raspberry and wild strawberry and silky tannins, this is a great pairing for cured meats, grilled meats or cheese.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.

There are probably other go-to red wines I prefer from Majestic for £15/bottle, however as a lighter option this is an elegant wine. The tasting profile is spot on and I will buy again- just keeping an eye out for it among the offers!

Very good wine. Your notes on it here and in your new brochure say fantastic Reds can be found here as well as whites". Since when did this appelation produce white wine?
