Bodegas Bardos sits in the toughest and coldest area of Ribera del Duero, at almost 1,000 metres above sea level. The high-altitude brings elegance and freshness to their bold and powerful wines. This Reserva is made from low-yielding Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Tim Atkin awarded the 2016 vintage with an impressive 96 points. Aged for 16 months in French oak, it has excellent structure, with balanced tannins and refreshing acidity. Discover rich notes of dark fruit, chocolate, vanilla and smoky-wood spice. Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.

Smooth and tasty.
has the full body of a Rioja (with the tempranillo). but a more rounded slightly less tannic flavour

OMG this is in my honest opinion one of the best wines I have tasted of late, smooth and it lingers on the tongue. Never would have chosen it but the manager at Hertford said its fantastic and WOW was he right…treat yourself to a cheap winner

Exceptionally good for the price. Smooth, bold and full bodied with an amazing balance of flavours. A fantastic example of the wine from this region without spending huge money. Easily the pick of the box of 6 mixed Ribera del Duero selection.

We really enjoyed this. My brother lives in Madrid, and a sommelier friend of his recommended this to him. On a recent visit over to the UK, he brought a couple of bottles with him and I have to say we were blown away by this. It’s an excellent Ribera for the money. Very smooth yet has a rich lingering taste. It’s one to enjoy slowly.
