About the producer
After making his name at Lafite Rothschild, Eric Fabre shifted to managing the family estate – Château d'Anglès – alongside his son Vianney Fabre. They follow biodynamic principles in the vineyard and handpick their grapes, turning out wines that receive applause from critics and passionate wine-drinkers alike.

About the region
A limestone outcrop overlooking the sea, La Clape is the only AOC on the Languedoc coast. Château d'Anglès vineyards are just a mile from the sea, which tempers the climate by cooling the heat waves in summer and preventing frosts in spring. Grapes ripen slowly thanks to the nearby shoreline, resulting in wines with increased complexity.

Enjoy this wine with Deep Fried Courgette Flowers with Tomatoes & more Courgettes. This pairs brillaintly for the same reasons as the Penedès blend, with nutty notes tying in well with batter and cheese, plus plenty of acidity to offset the richness.
