A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah that’s been matured partly in French oak barrels, Misterio gives you the full, luscious red-wine complexity that you’re craving from the Americas. Opulent notes of violet and black cherry give way to evocative blackberry and tobacco. The tannins are smooth; the finish is elegant. A very special wine indeed.

About the producer
Founded in 1910 by Polish immigrant Don Sami Flichman, Finca Flichman are among the pioneers in the Barrancas area of the southern Maipú, in Mendoza. In recent years investment has led to a modernised winery and expansion into other diverse terroirs. The work of head winemaker Rogelio Rabino is considered a benchmark for aspiring young enologists in Argentina.

About the region
Barrancas is one of the oldest viticultural areas in Argentina, and at Finca Flichman the vineyards are over 50 years in age. The 108 hectares sit at 700m above sea level on clay and silt, and the warm climate encourages fruity character and ripe tannins.
