Despite the opulent aromas, the flavour is dry, with crisp acidity, soft texture and beautiful balance. De Martino does it again.


About the producer
Founded by Italian immigrant Pietro De Martino Pascualone in 1934, De Martino is still fully family-owned and operated, with the third and fourth generations now at the helm. They believe in minimal intervention – harvesting grapes early, using native yeasts and ageing only in previously used French oak barrels to impart a light touch. So you can trust that what you’re tasting is a real product of the vines.



About the region
Plucked just 15 miles from the Pacific, the grapes for this wine come from the village of Guarilihue in Chile’s Itata Valley. The vines were planted in 1905 and are still worked by hand, with a horse and plough used to till the soils. It’s basically a snapshot of Chilean wine history.
