The man behind Viñalba, Hervé J Fabre, was the first winemaker to champion Malbec’s use in single-varietal wines in Argentina. His philosophy is one of minimal intervention, aiming for elegant, fruit-forward wines. Viñalba offers a collection of classic and interesting blends that include Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Franc, Torrontés, and Chardonnay, showingcasing the best of Mendoza and Patagonia's high-altitude vineyards. Hervé’s talent for creating premium Argentine wines was recognised by the IWC (International Wine Challenge) when he won Red Winemaker of the Year in 2018.
