Paul T Sales Assistant

Paul is our very own WSET Guru and master of all things Spanish. He has a strong background in Hospitality and you'll likely bump into him at the OXO Tower.

James Store Manager

James joined us from Waitrose, where he spent 18 years. He brings with him a wealth of retail experience. Qualified at WSET Level 2 and currently studying for his Level 3. His favourite wine is the Mollydooker 'The Boxer' Shiraz. He is currently working his way the whole of the Rhone Valley so if you're looking for recommendations find him in store.

Charlie Assistant Manager

Charlie joined the team from our Sevenoaks store, where she worked for 14 months. Qualified at WSET level 3 with a Merit, Charlie has an outstanding knowledge of wines, her favourite bottle of wine is the 2017 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay. Ask her for Fine Wine recommendations, you won't be disappointed!!!

Paul W Sales Assistant/Driver

Paul joined us from a background of working as a Supply Chain Manager at Kimberley Clarke. Paul enjoys a glass of Red and his current top choice is the Chateau Batailley Pauillac. Paul is qualified at WSET level 2 and has a good knowledge of the products we sell. You'll most likely see Paul delivering your wine with a big smile on his face!

Alana Sales Assistant

Alana has re-joined our team, she was previously with us over the Christmas period. Alana has a retail background, she has recently passed her WSET Level 2 with a merit and 84%! Her current favourite wine is the Wind and Waves Alvarinho.

Jackson Sales Assistant/Driver

Jackson is our Driver, you'll likely see him on your doorstep with your latest wine purchase.

Blind Tasting/Quiz in store on Saturday November 19th 7pm-9pm. Tickets are £10 and include a glass of fizz on arrival and your samples for the blind tasting. Please email or phone us to book your place :)

We will be closed for the Bank Holiday

All our stores will not be opening this Monday for the Bank Holiday, and to allow our colleagues to pay their respects.

We will also not be delivering on this day.

You can still shop or place a collection order until 5pm on Sunday. We will be back open, as usual, on Tuesday 20th September.

Everyone at Majestic wishes to pass their best wishes to the Royal Family at this time.

Are you interested in learning more about Champagne? On Friday 30th September, Store Manager Chloe is running a Champagne masterclass from 6pm. We will be tasting the entire range of the Cattier Champagnes and teaching you all there is to know about fizz! Please call or email the store to purchase your ticket (£20 a head).

This weekend, this store will be closing early on Sunday at 2pm, and reopening again on Monday at 10am. This is for an annual Majestic colleague event – to give our teams a well deserved break and celebration.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can still place orders for collection via our Shop Local function on the Majestic website, and if placed before 10am on Sunday collect before we close. Alternatively we will process and prepare all orders as soon as possible upon our reopening on Monday.

We look forward to welcoming you back in store on Monday, and thank you for your understanding.

We were most impressed with James at the Sanderstead branch when we called by to make some preliminary enquiries about hiring glasses. James was polite, approachable and well informed about the range of wines.

Our store will be closing early at 4pm on Sunday 5th September to allow our store team to attend an event supporting our Charity of the Year and in recognition of their hard work over the past 18 months.
