It doesn’t get much more classic Valpolicella Ripasso than this. Crushed Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara grapes are combined with the partly fermented skins from Amarone wine production. This creates a bottling that’s a beefy step-up in body, flavour and tannin from standard Valpolicella. Expect intense cherry aromas and full-on flavour.

About the region
Influenced by the rushing Adige River, the plunging Po Valley, the 143 square-mile Lake Garda and rich soils with deposits from ancient glaciers, Veneto is a complex region. One of its most celebrated areas, hilly Valpolicella produces a range of world-famous red wines. Valpolicella Classico is the lightest, while Amarone is rich and concentrated. Meanwhile, Recioto della Valpolicella is a decadent sweet wine.
