Paul Sales Assistant

Paul joined us in 2019 having previously worked as an ambulance driver for the last 7 years. Before this he was running his own wine bar and felt the calling back to the wine world and decided to join our team as our part time sales assistant and friendly driver. He has recently passed his WSET level 2 with distinction!

Hi - I just popped in on my way through today and had just the best customer service from the team. All the staff on today were interested in what I was looking for and offered just the right amount of advice and interest. Great knowledge, great service and just all round lovely people. If my wife allows me I’ll be stopping on the way back through!! 🥳

Always friendly, helpful service and no matter how often I say “I’ll carry that” to the wonderful French assistant, she always insists on carrying the wine to the car! Wonderful place.

Oh, and the deliveries always come early and are delivered by a super-friendly guy…

Poor delivery. Asked for a signature on delivery & that the goods were not left without one. The driver did not even ring the bell, just dumped the wine on the front door step. Rang to complain, needless to say, straight to answerphone & nobody has called me back.
Usually the service is good but this time is very poor

Our store will be closing from 4pm on Sunday 5th September in order for our staff to enjoy a charity event, to riase money for the Majestic charity of the year, the Brian Tumour Trust.

The store will be open from 10am Monday 6th, sorry for any inconvinience this may cause.

We’re open as usual with strictly limited customer numbers in place to ensure everyone’s safety. Upon entering, please check with staff that it is safe to enter.

You can place orders as normal by email or by phone, for collection or home delivery.

When emailing us your order, please include:
• Your name, address and contact number.
• The wines, beers and spirits (with quantities) you'd like to order.
• Please put COLLECTION or DELIVERY in the subject line.
• Please do not email your card details, we will call you to arrange payment and confirm your order. Deliveries are not guaranteed until confirmed by the store team.
