I joined the Totnes store in March 2018 having worked in three other stores over a 4 year period; Barnstaple and Tiverton as a Trainee Manager, followed by Exeter as an Assistant Manager. I currently hold a pass with merit for the WSET level 3 Certificate in Wines and more recently a pass with distinction for the relatively new WSET level 2 Certificate in Spirits. I have lived in the South Hams for the majority of my life and currently reside in Kingston near Kingsbridge, so it's great to see some familiar faces on the rounds! Any spare time I have is usually spent with my family, but I'm also a keen drummer and do enjoy playing in my band and frequenting gigs or festivals etc. Favourite wines would be a rich, full-bodied red or a zesty, refreshing white. Spirit of choice would be rum and I would choose a Champagne over Prosecco any day of the week!
I joined Majestic Totnes in August 2018 having worked in the hospitality industry for the past 12 years. I started as a Trainee Manager and was promoted to Assistant Manager where I help to run this busy store and make recommendations for our new and loyal customers. I am currently working towards my WSET level 3 certificate in Wines. I live on the edge of South Dartmoor with my wife and two young daughters. We have recently finished a barn conversion where we converted an old pig barn into a lovely new cosy home. My favourite wines would be a juicy, smooth full-bodied red from Puglia or an off-dry Riesling from Alsace.
An ex-photocopier engineer and avid QPR fan that has lived in Germany and Hong Kong before. Enjoys a cask drawn Bass and drop of Beaujolais!
Interesting facts about Steve: Climbed Everest twice, an expert in survival being an ex-Marine and has even eaten Puffin before!
Hi, my name is Alexandrina or Alexine for Short! I hail from the Republic of Ireland but these days you can find me in Ashburton. I joined the Maj Totnes team in September 2020 and I have just sat my WSET level 2 certificate in Wines exam (fingers crossed!) In my spare time I volunteer for the Dartmoor Search & Rescue and make beautiful stained glass windows. I'm more of a red fan, so I would say my favourite wine is a full-bodied Corbieres.
Hi! I'm Dominika, the resident Totnesian (Well originally Slovakia of course!) and like Chris, I also have a background in hospitality (the Seahorse & Southsands to name a couple) I absolutely love making recommendations and looking after our lovely customers when they visit. My personal interests include nutrition and Bio Dance, and I really enjoy good, local cuisine.
I'm the newest recruit here at Totnes having joined for Christmas 2020. In my spare time I enjoy tending to my horses. I'm hoping to learn more about our exciting products and look forward to earning my WSET level 2 certificate in Wines.
