Tamara Salt Store Manager

I joined Majestic in 2023, starting as a Sales Assistant in the Lichfield store. Over my first two years I passed my WSET Level 2 & 3 and worked my way to the Store Manager position in Stafford. A few of my store favourites are Kendall Jackson Zinfandel, notes of blackberry and spice. I love a sweet Gewurztraminer with its notes of lychee and rose. Join us in store for a taste!

Simon Ward Assistant Manager

I joined Majestic Wine in 2024 after many years working in hospitality including owning my own restaurant for 6 years. I've been qualified to WSET Level 3 for nearly 20 years and am just as passionate about wine as when I completed my qualification. I love white wines in particular and my favourite grape variety is Viognier for its gorgeous apricot and peach flavours. The Abbotts & Delaunay 'Les Fleurs Sauvages' Viognier is a particular favourite.

Originally an artist in the Film Industry, I joined Majestic wine in June 2025 and have since gained my WSET Level 2 certification. I've loved starting my wine journey at the Stafford store, having had the opportunity to try some amazing wines from all over the world. Picking one bottle is hard, but I would encourage anyone to try Domini Veneti's 'La Casetta', a fantastic Valpolicella Ripasso from Italy.

We have an exciting Tasting Event in our diary...
On Thursday 10th August at 6pm we will be joined by Chris Lysley - Brand Ambassador for Marisco, the makers of the award winning wines such as The Ned; Kings Series and Craft Series.

You will have the opportunity to taste a selection of their wines and learn more about the producer.

Tickets cost £20 per person

This weekend is Italian takeover so we have a selection of delicious Italian wines open to taste on our tasting counter. Nicole will be here all day tomorrow to see your lovely faces!
