Mike Sales Assistant

Having been interested in wine for many years and being now retired from the RAF, Mike joins us as a part-time Sales Assistant. His particular favourite wines are New Zealand Pinot Noirs and South African Pinotage although he loves all wines, well, nearly all! WSET lv. 3 qualified.

Rose Assistant Manager

At just 25 years old, Rose is an unexpected fountain of knowledge when it comes to wine and is always eager to share what she knows. WSET lvl. 2 qualified, currently working towards lvl 3.

Charlotte Store Manager

After a 5 year stint as Assistant Manager in our Harrogate branch, Charlotte returns to Ripon as our new Store Manager. She's not only warm and kind-hearted but has over 10 years worth of wine knowledge so she's ready to help you pick out the perfect bottle! WSET lvl. 2 qualified

Ellie Sales Assistant and Driver

Ellie is the newest memeber of our team here in Ripon. Whether she is delivering your order to your doorstep or leading you over to the tasting counter, Ellie is sure to make you smile. Currently working towards WSET lvl 2.

Rose is so knowledgeable and, having been a customer for a while, she knows my taste in wine. I’ve never had a bad bottle yet, and she’s steered me away from some things I might otherwise have tried and regretted. Always has a smile on her face, always friendly. Fabulous customer service.

we recently visited your Ripon store on arrival we found the store well stocked and lots of choice
unfortunately we were served by a female who made us feel awkward it felt like we were distracting her from her job. the way she spoke was quite rude

Adam was amazingly knowledgeable and helpful… gave great advice…difficult to get better service!….
We thought he MUST be the store m manager… wow!

Would like to extend my thanks to customer service “above & beyond”. Christine was working in the Harrogate shop, and they had no stock on some NZ Pinot Gris (Waimea). I said I was heading to Ripon (store she normally worked at weekends), so she made enquires, and managed to reserve some for my collection. At the same time, I explained that we were on holiday, and asked for recommendations for any worthwhile tourist sites. No problem, she drew an excellent area plan of the Ripon area, making some excellent suggestions of places to eat and also visit. Well done Christine!

We will be closed for the Bank Holiday

All our stores will not be opening this Monday for the Bank Holiday, and to allow our colleagues to pay their respects.

We will also not be delivering on this day.

Despite the road closure on North Street we are still very much open for business this week and over the bank holiday weekend!

Make sure to come from the direction Booths supermarket or the square and you can just go around the road closed signs to get to our carp park.

We'll be closing early at 3pm on Sunday 23rd January.
This is to enable our colleagues to enjoy a team get together.

We’re open as usual with strictly limited customer numbers in place to ensure everyone’s safety. Please check the traffic light system at the front door, and wait until the light is green and it is safe to enter.

You can place orders as normal by email or by phone, for collection or home delivery.

When emailing us your order, please include:
• Your name, address and contact number.
• The wines, beers and spirits (with quantities) you'd like to order.
• Please put COLLECTION or DELIVERY in the subject line.
• Please do not email your card details, we will call you to arrange payment and confirm your order. Deliveries are not guaranteed until confirmed by the store team.
