Richard fell in love with wine, food and hospitality in Argentina. Richard is a professionally trained chef (Leiths) and aspires to undertake a PhD on food/wine-related topics and sustainability. When he doesn't have his head in books, he enjoys watching the cricket and gleefully seeing how Newcastle United are doing in the transfer market. Sam is a mine of wine knowledge and former manager of the Havant store. Sam not only holds a Wine and Spirits Educational Trust (WSET) Diploma, she was commended for her performance within her cohort. This is no mean feat as Sam completed her exams amidst Covid while looking after her two young sons. Sam is a fantastic asset to the team.
Roy has been a faithful driver for several years now. After many years in the corporate world, Roy has chosen Majestic and Cricket to keep him entertained. Roy is rather partial to the Chardonnay grape - a common theme in the Lymington Store.
Lucy is relatively new to us and has taken to wine like a duck to proverbial water. Lucy is (was!?) moderately biased in her wine choices as she spends a lot of time in Naples with her family.
James has recently rejoined us after a brief stint away. Like the rest of the team, James demonstrates a curiosity and passion for wine. He has worked in wineries in Australia and is a fountain of knowledge of the Old World and the New.
