June 2005, a fresh faced young trainee manager joined Majestic Wine, in Stevenage. Fast forward 10 years, and Will, the Manager of the Lichfield store has learned a thing or two about wine, after starting with zero wine knowledge. I have also been lucky enough to visit many wineries around the world. I once heard a wine maker say 'no wood no good', whilst discussing Chardonnay, something I very much agree with.

2015 is the year I joined Majestic wine which incidently was a great year for wines in Bordeaux.

After joining in the summer of 2023 John has grown very found of our Primitivos ask him for a recommendation if you catch him in store.

The road outside our store is closed for resurfacing from July 10th to 19th, but we are open as usual. If you can't make it into store, we offer a local delivery service which is free when you spend £99. Give us a call or order online via Shop Local. Will is currently pulling together our latest order of rosé. #Lichfield

Sections of Eastern Avenue A5192 that will be closed are:
- 10th July: between Grange Lane and Watery Lane
- 11th July: between Watery Lane and Brownsfield Road
