This is a great-value sparkler made by a female winemaker at one of Spain’s leading producers – known for catering to local royalty and presidential visits. It’s crafted from a blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parellada grapes in the heart of Cava country in the highlands of Penedès. Thanks to an extended 15 months of ageing on lees, it’s full of character. Fine notes of fruit and pastry give way to a well-balanced structure. This is a wine with unmistakable personality, and it will go great with paella, cheese straws, tortilla or salads. Also give it a go with creamy sauces, where Cava’s fresh acidity provides a great counterpoint to the richness.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.

Disappointing. Yes it is cheap, but being own brand I had expected better quality. Loads better cava’s available and I am happy to pay a couple of £ more to get a better tasting one

We were very disappointed with this Cava. It was slightly sweet, almost sherbet like, not dry and toasty as we expected. Possibly one of the worst cavas we've tasted.

Disappointing. Current Majestic own label bottles are generally of a high quality. I found this Cava to be pretty average. Not bad, but poorer than the big brands available at a similar price. It tastes rather raw and lacks any complexity. The bubbles are big and quickly dissipate. A pity.
