Today award-winning Beronia is one of the best-known names in Spanish viticulture, but the brand has humble origins. It was founded as recently as 1973, by a group of friends who were simply on a mission to make great wine. While the flagship winery is set in the world-famous Rioja region, a second winery solely dedicated to white grape Verdejo is based in the mineral-rich DO of Rueda. Winemaker Marian Santasmaria ensures that the temperatures inside are kept cool and consistent, ideal for handling the expressive Verdejo grapes. This bottling is made from a blend of two separate harvests to create a balance of fresh, citrusy notes as well as ripe exotic and stone fruit character. That diverse profile means it’s a perfect match for a range of different fish, light chicken and cheese dishes.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.

I thought I might try this, recommendation and a gathering, so top up the supplies! This was nice, crisp wine, without being over bearing. A good drink with a meal or, as in this case, with friends.

Although my preferred wine is red I would definitely buy this again. Lovely crisp white wine ,refreshing and easy to drink . Paired well with my vegetarian meal .

I tried this wine with 2 friends over dinner. The wine is light and crisp, easy on the palette. We all agreed it wasn’t our favourite, but would happily drink again, and we very much enjoyed it!

This wine was highly recommended to me by a friend who appreciates their wines. I tried this, and I was not disappointed - absolutely lovely! It is a crisp white with a slightly peach undertone. I will be buying it again.

Three of us tried this wine and we all agreed that we wouldn’t buy it not buy it again. It is a light wine with a hint of lime probably great for a hot day but we found it lacking in body and flavour, more reminiscent of an alcohol free wine!

Three of us had a glass of this wine and we all agreed that for the price we wouldn’t buy it not buy it again. It had the citrus undertones but there was an insipid flavour probably ok for a hot afternoon drink but did not do it for us on this occasion.

Just back from Galicia and craved some more Rueda - this is a great, balanced wine; fresh, fruity yet crisp and dry. Great with chicken or aperitif snacks. Will be re-buying.
