I have worked in a number of stores in the region and have now returned to sunny Southend. I love discovering new wines from anywhere in the world and at the moment I am really enjoying anything Spanish, in particular reds from Ribera Del Duero such as Pesquera Crianza. After having worked in the Maidstone and Chelmsford stores, I?m' back on my home turf but as assistant manager. My time spent living, working and studying in France and Spain has given me a real taste (pun definitely intended, not sorry!) for the world of wine; least of all how to pronounce the names correctly. I?m the biggest fan of South African wine, so don?t be surprised if I?m always recommending you The Chocolate Block or a smoky Pinotage. Come and say hi, I'm sure you'll hear me before you see me!

Catarina based in the Southend Branch really complimented my experience at Majestic Wines. She is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and was the perfect example for customer service. I felt very well looked after, she introduced me to wines that she thought I would enjoy (alongside some wine tasting) and I did actually very much enjoy the wines she picked out for me! The experience Catarina gave me was so well done that I returned to the store and purchased a wine she had recommended- the purchase was for my mother-in-law and even she enjoyed it too! So a big shout out to Catarina at the Southend store, she really took care of me, she was very knowledgeable on the background and process of the wines.

I am continually being put off from purchasing because of the relative new appearance of multiple dates on wine offering. I have order 2015 Bordeaux wines before only to receive 2016. Does it matter ? How would I know? I have not tried the 2015 ! Do I complain? No I just don't order. Why do you do this?

For some reason when I try to open Der on line I am told that you don't deliver to my postcode -SS1. But you have, many times..... What to do?

We will be closed for the Bank Holiday

All our stores will not be opening this Monday for the Bank Holiday, and to allow our colleagues to pay their respects.

We will also not be delivering on this day.

You can still shop or place a collection order until 5pm on Sunday. We will be back open, as usual, on Tuesday 20th September.

Everyone at Majestic wishes to pass their best wishes to the Royal Family at this time.

Absolutely fantastic customer service, popped in for special bottle of port for Christmas and ended up leaving with six different bottles of wine all for Christmas and all for under £100 too! Ashley was extremely helpful in helping me choose other wines particularly with the port I was looking for and the wine which I’m looking forward to pairing with the pork I’m serving on New Year’s Day. A very knowledgeable person, every store needs a person like Ashley, he could not have been anymore helpful and even carried the box of bottles out to my car. I cannot wait to return in the future to pick up some more.
