I came in on Wednesday and had the pleasure of speaking to Ed I believe his name was. He was attentive, asked if he could help with anything. I was buying a gift for my mother in law and described what flavours and notes she likes, what brands she usually goes for but I was wanting to get something similar but different to what she usually has. Ed had all the knowledge of the wines he was recommending and asked if I had a budget. He tailored what I had said and found me 2 options. He even gave me a bit of background about the wine I chose so when I gifted to my mother in law I could tell her about it. We are yet to try the wine but I’m sure it will be amazing. Overall a very pleasant experience! Thank you Ed, please pass on my thanks to him.

I visited the store on Saturday looking to purchase more of the wine I purchased Thursday. It was a new wine I’d been recommended by the helpful guy in store (don’t recall his name).
When in store on Saturday, Chris served me, not only did he help order an item that wasn’t in stock, he also recommended more wine that was enjoyed by myself and friends, he also introduced us to several other options.
Very knowledgeable, an enjoyable experience, thanks to his humour and knowledge. I entered the shop intending to purchase 1 bottle of wine and left having ordered 7 that were delivered today AND an additional 2 that I left the store with.
The friend who was with me lives in Maidehead and will now become a customer there in the hope their staff are as friendly and helpful as Chris!

I love their beer selection. Super high quality German lagers and Wheat Beers amongst other select Uk and continental beers.
Great service too.
