    I started with Majestic Wine at our former Chippenham store back in 2015 and I am thrilled to be back here managing the brand new store eight years on. The store has an award winning range of more than 1,200 wines, beers and spirits which I am really excited to be able to introduce you to. My personal favourite is the Au Bon Climat Chardonnay from Santa Barbara County, California, you can expect flavours and aromas of citrus, stone fruit and an intriguing spice note of clove and nutmeg from surlies barrel ageing. “With over 8 years of Majestic experience and a Level 4 WSET Diploma qualification, I know the store is in safe hands managed by Richard Marriott.” - John Colley CEO

    This is my first time working for Majestic, having previously worked for Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey. I took my WSET levels 2 and 3 in lockdown and am raring to share my passion for wine in the new store in Chippenham and bring that knowledge to life. My current favourite is the Bread and Butter Pinot Noir from California, with flavours of black cherry, vanilla and toasted oak, this is a perfect sipper to have with, food, friends or both.

    I am new to Majestic and thoroughly enjoy a glass of wine while also looking forward to learning more about wine and being your wine chauffeur of choice. My favourite wine is Malbec and I can highly recommend the Mendel Selection Malbec, a fabulous high-altitude wine with deep concentrated flavours of black cherry, vanilla and a touch of spice. I do recommend a glass with a leg of lamb.
