The clue's in the name. Pol Roger created this in tribute to Winston Churchill in the style of the 1928 vintage, one of his personal favourites. It's made exclusively from Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards that were under vine in his lifetime. This is robust, full-bodied and rich, with a capacity to age for decades. It's so delicious, the family behind it keep the recipe top-secret. A fitting tribute to one of Britain's most prominent figures. Drink with oysters.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.

Like many premium labels it a £60 champagne with a £100 label. However this one disappointed it’s slightly lemony, overflowed when opened though being opened carefully. I don’t think it compares to Kruger, dom, Cristal, Perrier jouet and would not recomme

Absolutely sensational. This is my favourite champagne by a country mile. Toasty with (not overwhelming) notes of brioche. Slightly peachy. Complex. As the great man said, "In defeat in need it, in victory I deserve it".
