This month, we’re celebrating a decade of your favourite red, The Guv’nor. To mark the occasion, we’re releasing a special limited-edition anniversary bottle, The Guv’nor ‘X’. But the story doesn’t stop there – discover how we’re evolving the range this autumn, from our first-ever The Guv’nor Malbec from Mendoza to our convenient new Bag-in-Box.

New additions to the Guv'nor Family
To mark a decade of your favourite rule-breaking red, we’re releasing The Guv’nor ‘X’ – a special 10th-anniversary limited-edition label. It’s the same bold, juicy wine you know and love inside, just dressed up in a striking new look. Inside, you’ll find the classic, easy-drinking Spanish red that started it all. A modern blend of Tempranillo and Syrah, it's the ultimate crowd-pleasing red to share with friends. Rich and fruit-focused, it opens with aromas of dark forest fruits and smooth oaky vanilla. Full-bodied and approachable, it’s excellent to enjoy on its own or paired with roast lamb or blue cheese.
We asked some of our most prized winemakers working in Spain to make the best wines possible – no rules, no restrictions, no red tape. The Guv'nor collection was their answer. Made from Tempranillo grapes picked from their favourite vineyards across Spain, it’s a crowd-pleasing wine designed to be shared with good food – and even better company. It’s bold. It’s fruity. It’s a modern Spanish red that goes with everything, especially spicy barbecue meats or anything chargrilled. Now available in 2.25 litre bag-in-box, perfect for parties and get-togethers.
Spain’s most wanted has officially fled the country! The Guv’nor has made a bold escape to the Argentine Andes, pulling off a high-altitude heist by swapping his usual Spanish grapes for Malbec. Tangoing with the region’s dramatic climate, this pioneering bandit has smuggled back a criminally fresh yet rich red, packed with ripe plum, blackberry, and mocha flavours. Finished with velvety tannins so smooth they should be outlawed. Working with family-owned Félix Solís, the grapes are sourced vineyards in Argentine Andes sitting between 800 and 1,500 meters above sea level. These conditions lead the Malbec grapes to develop vibrant acidity and a distinct mineral edge from intense mountain sun combined with cool Andean nights. Hand-harvested grapes undergo cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with no oak ageing, to retain fresh acidity and natural vitality. It opens with bold aromas of ripe plum, blackberry and violet, leading to a full-bodied palate with velvety tannins, and a mocha and sweet spice finish. It’s the perfect pairing for grilled ribeye steak, slow-roasted lamb, or roasted aubergine.
