HI, I'm Ali. After working in Hospitality and for various Wine Merchant's, I've joined Majestic in the Mere Green Store. Personal favourites are aromatic Rieslings and Chardonnays from New Zealand.

Jonny Dale Store Manager

Hi, I'm Jonny. I started for Majestic Wine back in 2019 at the Uttoxeter store. I moved into the Flexi team at the beginning of 2020. Having worked in excess of 30 stores in the company. Mere Green is now my permanent home and has been since 2022. You'll probably find me recommending you through wines from our fantastic range of Bordeaux and Burgundy.

We'll be running Sauvignon blanc tasting counter takeovers this afternoon at 4pm and Saturday afternoon at 1pm. These will be short run sessions giving you a little run down of this grape variety and some of the wines we are currently promoting! We look forward to seeing you.

Hi,
Just a message to compliment EVERY member of staff at the Mere Green store. When we go in all the staff are so helpful and can't do enough to make the visit pleasant. We often ask for wine recommendations and they impart their knowledge with an eagerness to share and chat about the wines. Their recommendations have always been on point too! Loved the Albarino Caixas...wow! Thanks to Jonny for that one!
Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks for being so open and engaging.

We have a brand new wine open on our tasting counter this weekend. Come in and try the Whale Cove Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa offering similar characteristics to some of your favourite Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc, at £7.99, it'd be foolish not to give it a try.
