The traditional wedding list, where couples choose a range of household items to set up their first home, is no longer as relevant to many couples as it used to be. Personal Service
Our service is highly personalised to your requirements. Generally, the first step in setting up a list involves choosing the wines, and we arrange an appointment for you to visit your local Majestic store to discuss the options with an experienced member of staff. Once selected, we set up a web page detailing the wines on the lists and give you all the details you need to send out to your guests, or can even produce printed inserts for your invitations if you prefer.
Guests' orders are taken by our team at head office, and when the list closes we process all the orders and arrange the delivery of your wines at a time to suit you.
The number one thing to remember is that we can be flexible, and in most circumstances where customers have special requirements we've been able to accomodate them!
Fine Wine Collection Lists
Usually this involves selecting a small range of high quality wines for your guests to choose from. It's best to stick to better wines, so that you can continue to enjoy your gifts for several years as the wine matures. Don't worry if you're not sure what that means - our in-store staff are the best trained in the business and will be on hand to help you choose some delicious wines to enjoy many anniversaries from now! Reception or Party Lists
The cost of the drinks on your wedding day can be significant. Our Reception gift lists offer couples the chance to invite guests to contribute to the drinks bill by way of a gift. Guests can choose to buy as much or as little as they like from a list chosen by you. We'll give you plenty of time at the close of the list to arrange to buy anything else you need, and of course deliver everything in one go free of charge to your venue.
