Traditionally on a Friday, this year’s National Fish & Chip day is instead being celebrated today, Thursday 6th June, to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
Fish & potatoes were supplied to soldiers during both world wars to keep up our troops’ morale.
