    At our tasting evening last night the team came up with a new summer cocktail for you all to enjoy. In fact there are 2 versions of it, both equally tasty.


    One measure of Martin Millers Gin
    One half measure of Chase Raspberry Liqueur (but you can also use the Elderflower flavour)
    Topped up with Belovoir Elderflower Presse and lots of ice!
    A refreshing alternative to Pimms....

    The Ned Sauvignon Blanc is already a very popular wine and at £5.99 when you buy Any 2 or more New Zealand wines it is a real bargain!  This offer is only on until the 28th May so snap it up whilst you can.

    It has also just picked up a Trophy at the Decanter awards!

    The Ned Sauvignon Blanc 2011 by Marisco Vineyards won the Trophy for ‘Best New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc Under £10’ at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London overnight. Marisco Vineyards was also awarded NZ Winery of the Year at the IWC in October 2011.

    Wine of the Week - Lindauer Rose

    It's the week where the Olympic torch passes through Cheltenham and ends up at the racecourse tomorrow evening...

    I've worked for Majestic for 10 years and the time as flown by! I have completed my WSET Diploma and am happy to share this knowledge and various snippets of wine trivia. I'm quite partial to a glass of something fizzy and am a firm believer in it not being saved just for special occasions! On that note I'm now trying to decide what to wet the babies head with as I head off on maternity leave on 19th June.

During my time at Majestic I have fallen in love with Italian Amaroni, and with BBQ season approaching who doesn't love a rose.     Salut! My passion for wine started from an early age inherited from a food and wine driven family. My love of a good glass has taken me all over the world from the vineyards of New Zealand and Austria to now helping to manage a successful wine store in Cheltenham. My wine preferences change with the seasons. Voluptuous Chardonnay and warming Shiraz keep me going through the winter, whilst refreshing Rieslings and elegant Pinot Noir are my tipple of choice in the warmer months.
