Each week a member of the Majestic Cambridge team chooses a wine to be our Wine of the Week. The wine we choose is normally something new and exciting that we think people should try or an old favourite of the team, either way it will always represent excellent value.

This week Jon has chosen:

Campofiorin 2008 Masi

£12.49 or £9.99 if you buy two

Made by one of the five great Amarone families, the Campofiorin is a rich and intense Italian red with a price tag that belies its pedigree and quality. In an interesting take on the Amarone production method the wine undergoes a refermentation with partially dried grapes; adding power and complexity.

Aromas of red cherries are complimented by nuances of vanilla and cinnamon on the nose. The palate is bursting with rich, mouth-filling red fruits, finished off with a satisfyingly velvety mouth-feel and an impressive length.

this is a great full bodied red from one of italy's greatest producers!

Hello Majestic Customer!

Just to make you aware when placing deliveries either over the phone or via the internet, we generally have set week days for deliveries to certain areas, so to make yours and our lives easier please bare these days in mind when placing deliveries. We can in certain circumstances make exceptions but typically we try to stick to the following format:

Mondays/Thursdays: Pretty much everything East of Cambridge although we do deliver all the way up to Ely and Littleport and all the way south to areas such as Haverhill

Tuesdays/Fridays: Typically these days we cover everything everything south of Cambridge heading out to Melbourn and Royston in the Morning, across to Saffron Walden for early afternoon, making our way back to Cambridge through Duxford and Linton.

Wednesdays/Saturdays: On these 2 days we head out north of Cambridge heading to the likes of St Ives and Somersham in the morning and then down to the likes of Huntingdon and St Neots down the A428 on the way back to Cambridge.

For local deliveries: We tend to do these most days of the week either between 10:00-12:00 or between 18:00-20:00 in the evening.
