Like the powerful horse for which they are named, California’s Whiplash wines are commanding and elegant. They celebrate the unbridled spirit of this horse and pay homage to the invaluable horses that settled the once untamed American West. They’re crafted with the help of Linda Trotta, maker of the Bread & Butter collection. Given that these are amongst our most popular wines, the stage is set for Whiplash Chardonnay or Pinot Noir to become your next favourite go-to bottle. To make this, grapes are carefully selected from the northern part of Central Valley, where vines benefit from warm days and cool nights, offering perfect conditions for optimum ripeness, while preserving enough acidity for a perfectly balanced blend. Discover flavours of juicy apricot, tropical fruit and pear, plus rich notes of vanilla and a hint of toast. Well-rounded and buttery smooth, it will pair perfectly with creamy pasta dishes.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.

Great wine - a toned down version of Toast and Honey. To those who buy branded, look upon it as a Super 19 Crimes.

Straw yellow with golden reflections, on the nose apricot, tropical fruit and pear, as well as rich notes of vanilla, honey and acacia flowers. Round and buttery on the palate with sweet freshness

Whiplash 2022. First purchase of this wine, but it won't be the last. Classic Californian chardonnay - rich, buttery, powerful. Great value. Goes well with cream sauces or as chilled aperitif, probably also with brie or camembert.

Love it, be it a winter evening or sat in the garden soaking up the sun. Fantastic all round non-headache inducing Chardonnay. We bought the last cases from Stow when we found out you were discontinuing it, please stock again.

This is not to my taste. Those who dislike old style, heavy, oily chardonnay should avoid it. Very kindly, Majestic have agreed to swap it for another. The usual excellent customer service.

Not someone who usually bother writing reviews but this wine was horrible. The finish is best described as dense rotten oak. Only got two sips and rest is down the plughole. Wouldn’t recommend
