Gavi is one of the Piedmont region’s most exciting whites, made using the Cortese grape. It’s adored for its exquisite freshness and now rivals some of Italy’s other best known white wines such as Pinot Grigio and Soave. This bottle is a unique Riserva from a thriving biodynamic wildlife site. It is from a small production crafted from just a single vineyard – a sourcing technique that gives the most focused sense of a place. Each grape is hand-selected to choose only the finest, before they’re gently pressed and left in contact with lees (a natural by-product of grape fermentation) for 6 months. Following this, it spends another 6 months in the bottle so once it reaches you, it’s textured and brimming with flavour. Expect ripe fruity aromas and delicate floral notes.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.
