Gérard Bertrand is a former professional rugby union player who played for the French national team. After he retired, he became one of the most recognisable names in Languedoc winemaking. His viticultural CV is unsurpassed, and he's been pivotal in improving the reputation of the region. This is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, a high tannin, high acidity and full-bodied grape variety. Thanks to Languedoc's warm climate, and the resulting ripe grapes, this is a deliciously concentrated Cabernet.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.
