The world-famous Hardys winery makes the Eileen Hardy wines in tribute to the great matriarch of the family. So as you'd expect, it's the best of the best. In fact, ever since the inaugural vintage, in 1970, it has been made from only the finest parcels of Shiraz grapes. The fruit for this vintage is from McLaren Vale vineyards with an average vine age of 70 years. Old vines make the tastiest grapes, so this is chock-full of black-fruit flavour. Expect powerful notes of dark chocolate, plum, blueberry, black olive and cedar. This 2016 vintage won a gold medal at the Decanter Wine Awards 2020, and you'll only find it at Majestic. Try it with barbecued beef. In 2022, this wine won an IWC award for the 2020 vintage.

Majestic offers free chiller bin* loan for customers purchasing wine from us.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade.
We can also sell the ice to go in a chiller bin, or have it arrive separately - simply contact your local store after placing your order.
