Majestic are looking for a Vintern to drink wine on holiday, for the equivalent of a £52,000 per year salary. Could that be you? Read on to find out more…

Wine on holiday always tastes better doesn't it? But is there any exact science behind it?

As part of our latest Wine Club by Majestic theme, we’re looking for someone to put the idea to the test. We’ll fly you to the Iberian Peninsula, to taste the wines of Spain and Portugal in the country they were made in – with flights, accommodation and a case of our superb Wine Club wines to sample all provided. You’ll also be compensated with £200 per day spending money.

Then we’ll also send you a case of wine to try back at home. You’ll be asked to evaluate the two experiences – and let us know which wines tasted better.

Too good to be true?

No previous tasting experience required – just an open mind, a passport and a love of beautiful bottles. As well as tasting the bottles and enjoying some summer holiday sun, the chosen budding wine taster will also be treated to a visit to some of our Wine Club’s beautiful wineries and vineyards.

Terms and conditions

It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Prize Provider.

The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, additional meals and drinks which are not included in the prize, additional excursions and activities, attractions, treatments, internet charges, in room dining, laundry, in room videos, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance, visas and vaccinations where required and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.

The competition opens on 3rd August 2022 at 9am and the closing date for entries is 19th August 2022 at midnight. Entry is available to UK residents over the age of 18, except Majestic Wine employees, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

One entry per person, multiple or third party entries will not be accepted. 

No purchase necessary. Winners will be chosen on, or before 22nd August 2022, at random by an independent adjudicator and the winner will be notified by telephone within 28 days of the closing date. 

The name and county of the winner will be made available on or after 22nd August 2022. Majestic accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, damaged, or defaced. The decision of the promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

Majestic reserves the right to hold void, suspend or cancel the promotion at any time where it is reasonable to do so, or to alter the prize for one of the same or higher value.  

Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of these terms & conditions.
