Ordering

  • We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
  • The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
  • We reserve the right not to accept any order.
  • All goods are offered subject to availability. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific vintages.
  • Products sold to trade customers are only for resale within the EEA.

Product

  • Our website checks stock against our distribution center stock at time of purchase so is not guaranteed as accurate in all circumstances.
  • We do offer a store stock guide on the product page, but cannot guarantee the availability or otherwise of any product at any store.
  • In the event that a product is unavailable after an order is placed, we shall contact you to arrange replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order if substitutions have not been selected.

Substitutions

    When opting for substitutions, this means when a product within an order is unavailable, we shall replace it with a similar product of equal or higher value.

Delivery

  • Majestic Van Delivery - We guarantee delivery within five days of your order, except where indicated on our store webpages. However, during peak periods or periods of adverse weather conditions this may be extended. Majestic Van Delivery is only applicable for orders of six or more bottles of wine, spirits and/or Champagne. Beer only delivered on top of orders of 6 bottles or more. Majestic Van Delivery is free, and bookable within a time period (minimum 2 hours within our store opening hours) to suit you.
  • Next Day Delivery* - We work with a trusted courier partner. If they are unable to successfully deliver they will either leave your delivery in a safe place or leave instructions for you to re-book delivery.

  • Alternatively, we love a challenge. We’re confident we can find you a better tasting wine for the same price. Plus, if it’s not absolutely delicious we’ll give you your money back.

Returns

Security of employees

Majestic Wine Warehouse take the safety and security of our employees seriously and protects its staff from violence, threatening behavior and verbal abuse. Our employees can now use devices to monitor and record incidents where they feel their personal safety is at risk. Audio recordings obtained through these devices may be used to take action against offenders and may be used in criminal and civil proceedings.

Reviews, comments & content

  • Users of this website may post reviews, ratings, comments and other content. This right is extended on condition that the content is not illegal, obscene, abusive, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties, or objectionable. Specifically, content should not include software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters or mass mailings.

Voucher usage

  • Voucher offers have no cash value, are not for sale, and are only valid at participating Majestic Wine stores. Unless specified, the voucher or online code is not valid at Majestic Wine - Calais stores or at any Majestic Wine stores in Scotland. Strictly over 18’s only. Vouchers can be used once only, irrespective of voucher-specific terms and conditions and only one voucher is redeemable per transaction and per household, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Free bottles can be picked up in store only. Strictly one per person and over 18’s only. An account must be set up with Majestic Wine to enable free bottle to be claimed, requiring a minimum of full name and email address. No additional purchase required. Free bottle vouchers have no cash value, are not for sale and are not redeemable at Majestic Calais stores. Occasionally we will offer 2 free bottles of Prosecco when you purchase any 6 bottles from us in-store or online. Offer valid until date stipulated on this voucher. Two bottles of Prosecco will be discounted from your transaction when you present this voucher to a member of staff or enter the voucher code online. Wine Concierge

  • Signing-up to our Wine concierge service guarantees you a bundle of seasonal wines, delivered to your door every 12 weeks – March, June, September and December. You will automatically receive the selection unless you request otherwise.
  • The price of the case is £99 (the wines are always discounted by a minimum of 20%). It will be debited from your registered credit / debit card when each case is shipped. We will always include a 13th bottle for free.
  • We’ll email you before each case is due (confirming the wines and delivery address), and if the timing’s not right, you can postpone or skip your order. If you don’t like the look of any of the wines in the case just call us and we'll suggest some replacements we think you will like!
  • The wines in your case, including any complimentary bottles for sign-up, are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any of the wines between emailing you and shipping your wines – but will always pick similar wines or new vintages of the same value if not higher. These are also covered by No Quibble refund.
  • Majestic Standard Delivery and Click & Collect are always free with your Wine Concierge case. You can also cancel anytime – so there’s nothing to lose!
  • Through Wine Concierge VIP membership you are entitled to try any bottle up to a value of £20 in store. Majestic in Scotland

Our prices in Scotland work differently than England and Wales

The Alcohol Scotland Act 2010 disallows any alcohol promotion offering customers a discount for buying multiple products in Scottish stores.

So that all our customers can benefit from the same competitive pricing, wherever a Mix Six price is offered in England and Wales, this will be the single bottle price we charge in Scotland.

Online pricing

Our website allows you to indicate where you would like delivery or collection before ordering. By default, our website shows the pricing in England and Wales. If you select an address served by a store in Scotland, however, the prices shown online change to reflect the single bottle prices effective in Scotland.

In the vast majority of cases, the total for your order will be exactly the same as an order placed in England or Wales. If it does change it will only ever be by a few pence due to differences in the way the prices are rounded when English multi-buy discounts are calculated.

Since the Alcohol (Scotland) Act only covers deliveries that originate in Scotland, some deliveries to Scottish addresses are not affected because they originate in England. This includes some parts of the Borders covered by our Carlisle or Newcastle stores, or those parts of the Highlands and Islands where we deliver via courier (since our Mail Order warehouse is in England). In these cases the prices shown online will be the prices valid in England and Wales including Mix Six discounts. This is also the case if you are based in Scotland but are placing an order for delivery to an address in England or Wales.

Privilege Card

Acceptance of terms

  1. By applying for the Privilege card and when using the Privilege card, the cardholder fully accepts the terms and conditions as detailed below, and any future changes to the terms and conditions.
  2. The cardholder agrees to provide their name and home address details to Majestic staff when requested. These details must match our records from when the card was originally applied for.
  3. The cardholder must provide a valid e-mail address and the choice as to whether Majestic may e-mail them offers (you may unsubscribe at any time if desired).
  4. By using the card the cardholder agrees to Majestic Wine Warehouses Ltd anonymously sharing the cardholder's spend over any chosen period with the MCC or their employer, as part of a collective member/employee spend.
  5. Individual Privilege cardholder spend will not be disclosed to MCC or their employer unless in the case of suspected infringement of terms and conditions and where necessary.
  6. The Privilege cardholder agrees that this information will be held by Majestic Wine Warehouses Ltd.

Authorised use, ordering, exemptions

  1. A valid Majestic Privilege card must be shown to Majestic staff prior to purchase, or if goods are delivered, at the point of delivery.
  2. When ordering online you need to be registered and logged in to majestic.co.uk using the email address shown on this card.
  3. When logged into to Majestic.co.uk using the email address shown on this card the Privilege card discount will automatically be applied to your trolley.
  4. The Majestic Privilege card has no monetary value, is strictly non-transferable and is only to be used for reasonable personal purchases by Members or employees only - not family, friends or other third parties.
  5. Reasonable personal purchases is defined as up to £250 of goods per calendar month. For exceptions to this please email [email protected]
  6. Products containing alcohol can only be sold and delivered to people aged 18 or over.
