The Prize Winners will receive their wedding wine in the form of a refund for their wedding wine order. Participants must place a single order excluding any returns since purchase, which was placed and paid in full between 15th February 2024 to 31st May 2024 and wedding is celebrated by 31st December 2024, up to the value of £1000 including VAT (
“The Prize”).
The Prize is subject to availability and in the event that the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond Majestic’s control, Majestic reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Participants must make their purchase on a personal basis (as a consumer), participation is not available for commercial purchasers.
The Prize is non-transferable and there are no substitutions or a cash prize alternative for the Prize.
How to enter: To enter the giveaway, participants must:
Purchase their wedding wines via one single order in store or via www.majestic.co.uk between
15th February 2024 and 31st May 2024;
Have a wedding date secured for this year (
any date up to 31st December 2024);
Complete competition form (insert link), providing order details (including their name and receipt number);
Have a Majestic account. Participants can register via
https://www.majestic.co.uk/register.
This giveaway is open to all residents in England (excluding Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over who meet the criteria set out above, except employees of Majestic, their families, agents or any third party directly associated or professionally connected with the administration of the giveaway.
The giveaway will run from
00.00 on 15th February 2024 to 23:59 on 31st May 2024 (the “Promotion Period”). Entries must be received during the Promotion Period and will not be accepted or considered if received outside of the Promotion Period. Majestic reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of age. Majestic reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.
Entry All entries must be made as described above.
Only one entry will be accepted per wedding couple and subsequent entries with the same purchase receipt or order number and / or name(s) will be disqualified. Syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed, and all such entries will be disqualified, and any prize awarded will be void. Entries will not be accepted via agents, third parties or in bulk.
Majestic accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when purchasing online, Majestic does not take any responsibility for incomplete purchases and any incomplete purchases will not be considered valid for entry into the giveaway. Majestic accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
How Majestic selects a winner Winner shall be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process within 28 days of expiry of the Promotion Period.
The winner will be announced within 14 days of the winner being selected.
The winner will be notified by email and / or telephone (using details provided on the Majestic account used to make the purchase).
The selected winner will be contacted to notify them that they have won (as above) and will be required to confirm their acceptance of the Prize within 30 days. If the selected winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 30 days, then the winner’s Prize will be forfeited, and Majestic will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
In addition to the above, we reserve the right to randomly select an alternative winner in the event that:
(a) The winner is unable to accept the prize;
(b) We have reasonable grounds to believe that the winner has contravened any of these terms, including (without limitation), if the winner has provided false information or has tried by any means or form to manipulate entries to or results of the promotion.
Prize delivery Majestic will arrange for the winning couple to visit their local store to receive a refund via the original method of payment on the winning order after the date of their wedding. Refund must be claimed within 28 days after the date of their wedding.
Winner’s details Majestic must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Majestic will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails info@majestic.co.uk or writes to Customer Service team, Majestic House, The Belfry, Colonial Way, Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, WD24 4WH (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date of the Promotion Period.
If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Majestic at info@majestic.co.uk. In such circumstances, Majestic must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
By participating in this prize giveaway, you agree to provide Majestic with images of the wine at your wedding, the wedding couple and provide a quote on your experience of purchasing wedding wine at Majestic within 28 days of your wedding. You give your permission for Majestic to use your name, images and quote as supplied by you for marketing and promotional activities, including such promotion on Majestic’s website and Social Media Platforms (as defined below) in connection with this prize giveaway. By submitting your name, images and quote for the purposes of the promotion, you agree that:
(a) You have taken or are otherwise the owner of the image(s) supplied and have authored the quotes provided and that you have the right to make such available to us for all purposes of the promotion without time or territorial limit and no other persons appear in the image(s);
(b) Your images and/or quotes do not contain any content which violates or infringes on the rights of others, which is unlawful, defamatory, indecent or otherwise objectionable;
(c) You agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such images and/or quotes;
(d) Your images and/or quotes do not infringe any law or any third-party rights, for example any trade mark or copyright or otherwise violates anyone’s privacy or publicity.
You should not provide any materials or information that you do not want published or shared online. If you do not wish for us to use your material as set above then you should not enter this promotion.
Majestic’s liability Insofar as is permitted by law, Majestic, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Majestic, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your legal rights are not affected.
Majestic reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so at any time without notice.
These Terms and Conditions Upon submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions then you should not take part in the giveaway. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this giveaway.
