Vergelegen's reputation as one of the best New World wineries around is more than justified. "The White" is their take on top white Graves - 23% Sauvignon and 77% Semillon from some of their best vineyards. The grapes are fermented and matured in new French oak. A powerful and complex nose of greengage, fresh herbs, lime and hot buttered toast, the palate is rich and layered with real polish and terrific balance. A superb match to seafood or wild mushroom risottos.

Delivery Information
We have a wide selection of fine wines available in our network of stores across the UK. You can also order exclusive fine wines online that are stored at our temperature controlled Fine Wine Centre in St John's Wood, London. If a wine is labelled 'Special Distribution' we will send it via courier from the Fine Wine Centre to your local Majestic before your delivery can be completed. This allows you to choose from a much greater range of fine wine, but does mean delivery may take a few days longer than usual.
