Les Tourelles de Longueville is the second wine of Château Pichon-Baron. It was introduced with the 1986 vintage and around 12,000 cases are typically produced each vintage. The wine is currently built around the plot of Sainte Anne, planted with a majority of Merlot. A deep, purple colour with an enticing nose of strawberry, blackcurrant and fresh roses. Silky tannins give a more 'ready-to-drink' style, packed with toasty vanilla notes and an unmistakable elegance. Well-balanced with a crisp structure this wine will drink well over the next 5-8 years. Drink with roast lamb or game pie.
