More about this wine...

Château Greysac 2008 Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

Situated in a gravel estuary in the hamlet of By in the Médoc, Château Greysac produces elegant, seductive clarets at excellent prices. The Cru Bourgeois classification represent the only classification of the Médoc since the famous 1855. Aromas of classic cassis, black cherry, plum, vanilla and spice. A medium body consisting of ripe currants, tobacco and juicy plums, fine tannins, elegantly balanced fruits, and a lingering finish. A young claret that, despite a long future ahead of it, can be drunk now with steak, beef Wellington, filet mignons or gamebirds.
