A truly delightful medium bodied red
I first found this wine a year ago and every bottle further increases my enjoyment of this luscious red. Works particularly well with Pasta dishes, Braised beef and Liver and onions. very inexpensive and worth every penny.

Very poor
I disliked this wine after the very first taste. It is as though it had spent a full year in an old oak barrel. Huge excess of tannins. It has to be a mix of several varieties. In my opinion it should be thrown away.

A Top Notch Brandy
I actually prefer Armagnac to Cognac brandy and this one rates with the best. Normally worth 4 stars (there arer even better ones but at cost!) but since I believe that value for money should be part of the star syatem I have given this brandy the extra star.
Thoroughly recommended to warm your heart.

Firdt Class Wine
This must be one of the best of the Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. Delightful gooseberry after taste. Super and not expensive.

An unexpected delight
When I ordered this wine I was afraid it would be like it's Australian cousin: far from it. Excellent flavour, slightly sweeter than expected but delightfully spicy. I drank it with Chicken Tikka Marsala and this was a similar match to sliced bananas with this dish. Well recommended. Don't take it as just an apparetif as so many seem to say - have it with spicy food thoughh I cannot see it matching Thai food.

A superb Sauvignon Blanc
This is a wine for special occassions. It has the the wonderful aromas of summer, the fine, zesty flavours that linger in the mouth. This is very different to the more fuller bodied stronger aromas of the SV's of New Zealand and makes a delightful change to this avid drinker of the SV wines.
