A bit simplistic and light, disappointing
Lacked body and depth with a little too much sourness on the palate for my taste. Didn't live up to the "single vineyard" billing for me.

Good value traditional Spanish red
Hearty and oaky with Cabernet adding body to the traditional Rioja style. Has aged well and good with meat, cheese etc.

When they're good, they're very very good
Have got through four of these now (on separate occasions). Obviously some variability as you can see from the other reviews, but mine had all lasted pretty well. Still some good fruit, and a strong red colour, with the complex savoury aromas you hope for from mature Rioja. Medium-bodied. Open with care as the corks are crumbly.

Friendly, fruity, well-made, bargain
Recommended - great party wine, fine to drink on its own or with rich food.

Rich, well-balanced and enjoyable
Ignore the "Grigio" branding - this is more like a good dry Alsace Gris. Complex and rich flavours, well-balanced. Highly recommended for richer foods or on its own.

Great value, full-flavoured, easy-drinking
Impeccably made, well-balanced, full-flavoured. Good value every day drinking, and excellent with food.
