The Haut-Médoc is situated on the famous gravel banks by the Gironde river. Truly delicious Cabernet-based wines are produced in the Haut-Médoc.
Now showing a good degree of maturity with its deep garnet colour, mellow bramble fruit and gentle notes of cedar and dark spice. Ripe tannins and soft fruit flavour provide a harmonious mouthfeel.
An approachable wine with ripe red berry fruit, accented with black pepper, toast and vanilla notes, providing satisfying complexity and length. Try with goose or red meats such as lamb.
A bright nose of red fruit with a perfumed edge follows onto the palate with added nuances of smoke, black pepper and subtle oak. Perfect with roasted goose or beef.
"...aromas of liquorice, roasted herbs, sweet cherries, and flowers...it possesses an ethereal seriousness..." Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, April 2007.
