Sauvignon Blanc

Origin
The single Vineyard blend is sourced from a specific block at our La Escultura Estate, which was planted in 1992. This site is benefiting from sandy-loam soil and cool sea breezes.
Taste
Freshly cut grass aromas complement those of green apple and pineapple, crisp acidity lends freshness to the intense and invigorating palate. The finish is dry and refreshing.

    Not what it was......

Have drunk many bottles over the years, but the most recent vintage lacks the subtlety of earlier ones. Used to be worht the small price premium, but no longer.

    Excellent

We normally go for NZ sauvignon, this is a great alternative, we love it.

    Just wonderful

Like the 2008 SB, this has the very same traits. Just a wonderful, lively & vibrant zesty SB. It has to be 5*

    Complex flavour, very clever.

This is a clever wine as the tastes moves from one thing to another on your palate, ending with a smooth Mango flavour that's makes you want to have another sip almost immediately. I have made more than twice this price for similar wines in the past. We had it with Chinese food and it was a nice accompaniment. 5 STAR ALL THE WAY.

  • Rainforest in a glass!

"Intense grassy and tropical aromas on the nose are coupled with zesty citrus fruit on the palate. Refreshing acidity and a fantastic length make this a great alternative to the en vogue New Zealand Sauvignon."
